Relationship between vitamin D metabolism and cholesterol-induced cardiovascular disease

  • 维生素D在调节骨骼代谢、延缓脑小血管病进展等领域发挥重要作用。过高血清胆固醇水平能促进动脉粥样硬化斑块形成,促进血管内皮损伤部位的炎症进展。维生素D能负反馈调节胆固醇代谢及平滑肌细胞增殖,最终抑制动脉粥样硬化。维生素D与他汀类药物在降低血清胆固醇过程中发挥协同作用,并能减轻他汀类药物的相关副作用。本文对维生素D与胆固醇代谢在动脉粥样硬化等心血管疾病中的作用及关系进行综述,为后续研制有利于心血管健康的治疗药物提供新思路。
